The WBC Welterweight champion Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather proves to the world that he is still the no. 1 pound for pound boxer of the world after a classic clashed with undefeated challenger Ricky "The Hitman" Hattonof England. The WBC champ and with his unique style put Hatton into a difficult time of getting his belt. From the start of the bell the fight was full of action wherein the challenger stalking the champion so that he can connect a good punches but it seems Mayweather really studied the style of Hatton, that is why the challenger cannot make a bang.
At the round ten Ricky Hatton surprised by a explosive left hook form Pretty Boy that send him into the canvass. The referee counted him off, surprisingly with courage, The Hitman stoop up and beat the count from then the referee continued the figth and once again the challenger caught by strong combinations that force the referee to stop the fight. Floyd Mayweather won via 10 round TKO that remains his clean record of being champ and undefeated.

Nonito Donaire: Retained IBO/IBF Belt
Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire retained his belts via an eight round TKO over tough contender Luis Maldonado of Mexico. At first the the defending champion cannot take his tempo but at the end of the round two he cuts the left eye of the challenger. From then on Maldonado really struggle with the said cut and caught with some beautful punches from the Filipino champ, but in the round four Maldonado connect some good left hook that shocks the champion but the raging Donaire could still carry all those punches. At the middle of the round seven the mexian warrior was caught by a wild hook that made him to kiss to the canvass, but he was save by the bell. At the start of the round Donaire bomb a barage of punches that made the challenger to go back and standing at the rope, but the referee decided to stop the contest because Maldonado could no longer continue to fight.
